Col. Jason Bohm, USMC commanding officer of the Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force (SPMAGTF) will address the public about the mission accomplished by the 2,300 Marines and himself who recently returned from a seven-month deployment to the Middle East. The event will take place at 6 p.m. on June 9 at the Ocean Institute in Dana Point, 24200 Dana Point Harbor Dr. The program is free to attend.

Bohm will report on the force’s activities and movements that have been classified to a great extent, but a press release said he will explain how important their participation was in the fight against ISIS and other terrorist organizations in that area of the world.
