BEST KNOWN FOR: Chicago Style Pizza

MOST POPULAR ITEM: Family Special

Although First Class Pizza has been serving up authentic Chicago-style pizza to Orange County since 1978, they recently opened a new location in the Talega Village Center in April 2009. Long, dark wooden tables and low lighting combined with the wafting scent of oven-baked meals evokes a comforting atmosphere. “Customers really enjoy our specialty pizzas,” said Jeff Sustacek, one of the founders of the First Class Pizza along with his wife, Angie.  “For example, the Porker is an all-meat pizza.” First Class Pizza is a family-friendly environment and also welcomes sports lovers. Large television screens play the latest sports games, and on Sunday nights First Class Pizza provides Sunday Night Football specials. The restaurant offers more than just a slice of pizza, boasting a menu of assorted salads, pastas, and oven-baked sandwiches. One of the most popular menu items is the Family Special, which includes one extra large pizza (16 inches), drinks, and a side for $25.99. The signature dessert, the Cinna-za pizza, is a big hit among customers as well. Happy hour is also available (weekdays from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.) as well as an email sign-up for customers.
